Heat a pan on a medium flame.
Add 1 cup Chopped Tomatoes
Add 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
Add 4-5 curry leaves
Then, add 2-3 green chilies
Add ½ inch chopped ginger
Add 1 pinch of Hing
Now add, 1 cup water
Add ¼ tbsp turmeric powder
Saute well and close the lid.
Bring it to boil
Smash the tomatoes using the spatula
Next, add 1 cup cooked dal and mix.
Add 1 tbsp salt as per taste
And add 1 tbsp jaggery water and saute.
Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
Now, take a pan and heat it on low flame.
Add 2 tbsp oil to it.
Add 1 tbsp Mustard seeds
Add 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
Next, add 3-4 dry red chilies
Add 1 pinch Hing to it.
Next, add 4-5 curry leaves and toss them.
Finally, add this tadka to the rasam.
Finally, squeeze the halt lemon into the rasam and give a good mix.
Now the tasty Tomato lemon rasam is ready to savor.
