Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 cup sliced Onion
  • 1 cup Sliced Tomatoes
  • ½ cup chopped fresh Coconut dice
  • 1 handful of Fresh coriander leaves
  • 3-4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch chopped Ginger
  • 1- inch Cinnamon stick
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • 1 tbsp Poppy seeds
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Take a pan and add 2 tbsp Oil
  • Add 1 cup sliced Onion and saute well
  • Then, add 1 cup Sliced Tomatoes and saute well
  • Add ½ cup Chopped fresh Coconut dices and saute
  • Add 1 handful of Fresh coriander leaves
  • Next, add 3-4 Garlic cloves
  • Add 1 inch chopped Ginger
  • Add 1-inch Cinnamon stick and saute well
  • Next, add 2-3 Cloves
  • Add 1 tbsp Poppy seeds
  • Mix everything well and turn off the gas and let them cool.
  • Transfer them into a jar and grind them into a smooth paste.
  • Now, in a pan add 3 tbsp oil and heat
  • Add ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder
  • Add 2 tbsp Red chili powder and mix well. Don't burn it.
  • Add the masala paste to it.
  • Add some water to the jar and add it to the pan.
  • Mix everything well and cook.
  • Now, add 1 tbsp Salt, according to the taste, and mix.
  • Close the lid and cook it well. The color of it should change and cook well.
  • Now, the yummy Sherva is ready.
