Take a vessel add 2 cups of water and heat it
Once the water is hot add 1 cup washed Split Green Gram and let them cook
Bring it to boil
Check if the Green grams are cooked
Now, take a pan and add 2 tbsp Oil
Add ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
Add ½ tbsp Cumin Seeds and let them splatter
Then, add 5-6 crushed Garlic and saute
Add 1 chopped onion
Add 3-4 chopped Green chilis and saute
Next, add ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder
Add 1 tbsp salt (as per taste) and saute
Now, add 1 cup chopped Methi leaves
Saute until the leaves become soft
Next, add the cooked Green gram
Mix everything well and saute
Add 2 tbsp Water
Close the lid and let them cook for two minutes
Give a final mix.
