Heat a pan and add 2 tbsp oil
Add ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
Add ½ tbsp Cumin seeds and let them splatter
Next, add 1 cup chopped onion and chopped green chilies and saute
Then, add 1 cup chopped tomatoes and saute well
Add 1 tbsp salt and saute
Now, add a small piece of jaggery and saute
Add 1 cup hot water and give a good mix
In a bowl, take 3 tbsp Besan flour and add ½ cup water and mix it well. Make sure there are no lumps.
Now, add this besan mixture into the vessel and give a good mix
Bring it to boil
Now, the yummy Junka or Hittina palya is ready to savor.
