Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
  • ½ tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3-4 Green chilies
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 piece jaggery
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 3 tbsp Besan flour
  • ½ cup water

Instructions
 

  • Heat a pan and add 2 tbsp oil
  • Add ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
  • Add ½ tbsp Cumin seeds and let them splatter
  • Next, add 1 cup chopped onion and chopped green chilies and saute
  • Then, add 1 cup chopped tomatoes and saute well
  • Add 1 tbsp salt and saute
  • Now, add a small piece of jaggery and saute
  • Add 1 cup hot water and give a good mix
  • In a bowl, take 3 tbsp Besan flour and add ½ cup water and mix it well. Make sure there are no lumps.
  • Now, add this besan mixture into the vessel and give a good mix
  • Bring it to boil
  • Now, the yummy Junka or Hittina palya is ready to savor.
