Savaji sherva recipe

Savaji hotels are famous for Non-vegetarian food. Sherva is the most famous dish. It is a gravy that they serve with all the dishes. The joy of savoring sherva with Kadak Jowar roti is at the next level. It tastes heavenly delicious. In today’s blog, I am going to share the recipe for sherva.

savaji sherva recipe
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 cup sliced Onion
- 1 cup Sliced Tomatoes
- ½ cup chopped fresh Coconut dice
- 1 handful of Fresh coriander leaves
- 3-4 Garlic cloves
- 1 inch chopped Ginger
- 1- inch Cinnamon stick
- 2-3 Cloves
- 1 tbsp Poppy seeds
- 3 tbsp Oil
- ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp Red chili powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
Instructions
- Take a pan and add 2 tbsp Oil
- Add 1 cup sliced Onion and saute well
- Then, add 1 cup Sliced Tomatoes and saute well
- Add ½ cup Chopped fresh Coconut dices and saute
- Add 1 handful of Fresh coriander leaves
- Next, add 3-4 Garlic cloves
- Add 1 inch chopped Ginger
- Add 1-inch Cinnamon stick and saute well
- Next, add 2-3 Cloves
- Add 1 tbsp Poppy seeds
- Mix everything well and turn off the gas and let them cool.
- Transfer them into a jar and grind them into a smooth paste.
- Now, in a pan add 3 tbsp oil and heat
- Add ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder
- Add 2 tbsp Red chili powder and mix well. Don't burn it.
- Add the masala paste to it.
- Add some water to the jar and add it to the pan.
- Mix everything well and cook.
- Now, add 1 tbsp Salt, according to the taste, and mix.
- Close the lid and cook it well. The color of it should change and cook well.
- Now, the yummy Sherva is ready.
