Recipe for Sweet Chutney

 

Indian chaats are incomplete without Pudina chutney and Sweet chutney. We want them as a dipping for most of our dishes…Sweet chutney also plays a major role in our chat-pata snacks…especially in our Masala puri, Sev puri and Dahi Puri, Samosa, etc.

I just love that sweet taste in the middle of spicy chaats…We also love spreading our sandwiches with these two chutneys…In Today’s blog, I am going to share the recipe for yummy Sweet chutney…It is a very easy and quick recipe. Make it at home and enjoy…

Sweet chutney

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Dates
  • ½ cup Seedless Tamarind
  • ½ cup Jaggery
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala
  • ¼ tbsp Ginger powder
  • 1 spoon of Black Salt

Instructions
 

  • Take a pan and add ½ cup Dates to it.
  • Add ½ cup Seedless Tamarind to it.
  • Next, add ½ cup Jaggery to it.
  • Add 1 cup water to it.
  • Mix all the ingredients well and slightly press the tamarind.
  • Now cover the lid and bring it to boil
  • Boil on a medium flame for five minutes
  • Let them cool for some time
  • Transfer the mixture into a bowl and allow it to cool down completely
  • Once it is cooled down, transfer it into a mixer jar and grind it into a smooth paste
  • Now transfer the paste into a sieve and sieve it completely using a spoon.
  • Tamarind and dates paste is ready
  • Heat a pan and add 1 tbsp oil
  • Add 1 tbsp Red chili powder
  • Add 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • Add 1 tbsp Garam masalaa
  • And add ¼ tbsp Ginger powder(Optional)
  • Now mix everything well until the Aroma of all the Masalas is enhanced.
  • Next, add 1 tbsp water and mix it into a paste.
  • Add this masala paste into the tamarind date paste and mix well.
  • Finally, add 1 spoon of Black Salt and mix.
  • Finally, the tasty Tamarind Date sweet chutney is ready

Instructions with Images

Next, add ½ cup Jaggery to it.

Add 1 cup water to it.

Mix all the ingredients well

Slightly press the tamarind.

Now cover the lid and bring it to boil

Boil on a medium flame for five minutes

Let them cool for some time

Transfer the mixture into a bowl and allow it to cool down completely

Once it is cooled down, transfer it into a mixer jar and grind it into a smooth paste

Sieve it completely using a spoon.
