North Karnataka is well known for its unique food habits… Jowar is the main base of most of its dishes… People can not live without Jowar roti and jowar mudde even for a day… There are so many interesting jowar recipes…Jolada mudde is one such interesting dish…It is very light on the stomach and super tasty…In today’s blog, I am going to share one of the healthy and yummy Recipes for Jolada mudde… Do try it and you will love it for sure…

Jolada Mudde
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Oil
- ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
- ½ tbsp Cumin seeds
- 3-4 curry leaves
- 1 cup Chopped onion
- 1 tbsp Green chili paste
- 1 Medium chopped tomato.
- 1 tbsp Salt as per taste
- ½ tbsp Turmeric powder
- 1 cup Hot water
- ½ cup Coriander leave
- 1 & 1/2 cup Jowar flour
Instructions
- Take a deep vessel or a saucepan
- Add 2 tbsp oil to it.
- Then, add ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
- Add ½ tbsp Cumin seeds and let them splatter
- Next, add 3-4 curry leaves
- Then, add 1 cup Chopped onion and saute it well
- Once, onions change Color, add 1 tbsp Green chili paste
- Saute it well
- Next, add 1 medium chopped tomato and saute.
- Add 1 tbsp salt, as per taste
- Mix everything well
- Then, add ½ tbsp Turmeric powder and mix it.
- Now, add 1 cup of hot water to it and boil.
- Add ½ cup coriander leaves and mix it.
- Next, start adding Jowar flour gradually and mix all the ingredients continuously using a spatula or wooden pin.

- Stir until the jowar mudde is complete without any limbs.
- Add 1 tbsp ghee to it and mix.
- Now, the super healthy and tasty Jolada mudde is ready to savor.

Next, start adding Jowar flour gradually and mix all the ingredients continuously using a spatula or wooden pin.

Stir until the jowar mudde is complete without any limbs.
Add 1 tbsp ghee to it and mix.
Now, the super healthy and tasty Jolada mudde is ready to savor.
