Hasi Saaru
In today’s blog, I will share the recipe for Hasi saaru. This is one of the tastiest and easiest recipes that I have learned from my mom. Whenever I don’t feel like cooking, or in a hurry, I get stressed out. Even though I have the option to order food from outside, i opt to prepare food at home. I remember my mom knew some of the fast yet tasty recipes. Hasisaaru is one of my favorites from my mom’s kitchen. I love it so much. I learned this recipe from my mom and now it’s my savior. Now, without any delay let’s jump into the recipe.

Ingredients
1 small onion
1/2 tbsp green chillies
2 cups of Tamarind juice
2 tbsp Coriander leaves
3/4 tbsp Salt (as per taste)
1 tbsp Red chili powder (as per taste)
1/4 tbsp Rasam Powder
1tbsp Jaggery
Instructions with Images
Add 1 small onion cut into small pieces
Add 1/2 tbsp Chopped green chillies and now, squeeze the juice out using your hands or a laddle or pestle
Now, Add 2 cups of Tamarind juice and add water according to the required consistency
Add 2 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
Next, add 3/4 tbsp Salt (as per taste)
Add 1 tbsp Red chili powder (as per taste)
Add 1/4 tbsp Rasam Powder
Next add 1tbsp Jaggery
Squeeze everything well
Now tasty and healthy Hasi saaru is ready.
