Vegetable kurma recipe

As my husband loves to savor Puri with Kurma, I tried it at home and surprised him. Guess what? He totally fell in love with it. And since then, I prepare it at home at least once in 15 days. Puri tastes amazing with Mixed vegetable kurma. In today’s blog, I am going to share the recipe of Mixed vegetable kurma. I am sure you are gonna love it.

Equipment
- Pressure cooked
- Pan
Ingredients
- 1 cup soaked green peas
- 1 tbsp salt As per taste
- 2 cup water
- Mixed vegetables carrot, potato, beans, cauliflower, etc.
- 4 tbsp Oil
- 3 cloves
- ½ inch Cinnamon stick
- 1 cardamom
- 6-7 Garlic cloves
- 1 and ½ cup sliced onion
- ½ inch ginger
- 5-6 curry leaves
- 1 cup chopped fresh coconut
- 1 tbsp Curry powder
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- ½ tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 cup sprouted moth beans
Instructions
- Take a pressure cooker and add 1 cup soaked green peas
- Add ½ tbsp salt and 1 cup water
- Close the lid and bring it to 3 whistles.
- Take the pressure cooker and add mixed vegetables into it
- Add 1 cup water and bring 1 whistle.
- Take a pan and add 1 tbsp oil
- Add 3-4 cloves, ½ inch cinnamon stick, and 2 cardamoms, and saute
- Now add 6-7 garlic cloves and 1 cup sliced onion and saute well
- Add ½ inch ginger and 5-6 curry leaves and mix well
- Next, add 1 cup chopped fresh coconut slices and saute.
- Once everything sauteed well, turn off the gas and let it cool.
- Transfer into a mixer jar
- Add 1 tbsp Curry powder and grind into a smooth paste.
- Take a pan and add 2 tbsp oil
- Add ½ tbsp turmeric powder
- Add 1 tbsp chilly powder and saute.
- Next, add ½ cup sliced onion and saute well.
- Now add 1 cup chopped tomatoes and saute well.
- Once the tomatoes become soft and ground masala paste to it and mix well.
- Add ½ cup water and add salt as per taste and mix well
- Close the lid and cook it for 5 minutes on a low flame.
- Open the lid and add 1 cup sprouted moth beans and saute.
- Finally, add cooked green peas and mixed vegetables to it and mix well.
- Add 1 tbsp garam masala and mix.
- Close lid and cook for 5 minutes.
- Open the lid and give a final mix.
- Add coriander leaves and mix.
- Now the tastiest mixed vegetable kurma is ready to serve.

Step 1
Take a pressure cooker and add 1 cup soaked green peas

Add 1 tbsp chilly powder and saute.
Next, add ½ cup sliced onion and saute well.
Now add 1 cup chopped tomatoes and saute well.
Once the tomatoes become soft add the ground masala paste to it and mix well.
Add ½ cup water and add salt as per taste and mix well
Close the lid and cook it for 5 minutes on a low flame.
Open the lid and add 1 cup sprouted moth beans and saute.
Finally, add cooked green peas and mixed vegetables to it and mix well.
Add 1 tbsp garam masala and mix.
Close lid and cook for 5 minutes.
Open the lid and give a final mix. Add coriander leaves and mix.
Now the tastiest mixed vegetable kurma is ready to serve.
