Curry leaves rice
Rice is the staple food in India, especially in the Southern part of India Rice plays a major role in the regional cuisine. Coming from North Karnataka Jowar roti played a major role in our day-to-day life. But, after coming to Bangalore I was surprised and so happy at the same time to explore so many different rice recipes. I am a rice person, My day is never complete without having rice at least once in a day. I love trying a variety of recipes with Rice. Curry leaves rice is one of my favorite and the easiest. I just love the flavor or Curry and Other basic herbs blending with Rice. Now without any delay let’s jump into the recipe.

Ingredients
1 handful of Coriander leaves
1 cup of Curry leaves
4-5 green chilies
4-5 Garlic cloves
2 tbsp Coconut chips
1/4 tsp of Cumin seeds
2 tbsp Ghee
2 tbsp Oil
1/4 tbsp mustard seeds
1/4 tbsp Cumin Seeds
1 tbsp Urad dal
1 small onion cut into pieces
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Salt
Half lemon
2 cups of Cooked Rice
Instructions with Images
Add 1 handful of Coriander leaves into a jar
Add 1 cup of Curry leaves
Next, add 4-5 green chilies
Add 4-5 Garlic cloves
Add 2 tbsp Coconut chips
Now, add 1/4 tsp of Cumin seeds
Add a little water
Grind everything into a coarse paste
In a pan add 2 tbsp Ghee
Add 2 tbsp Oil
Now, add 1/4 tbsp mustard seeds
Add 1/4 tbsp Cumin Seeds
Add 1 tbsp Urad dal
Now, add 1 small onion cut into pieces and Saute until the onion turns into a Light brown color
Now, add the Curry leaves paste to it and Mix everything well
Add 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder and mix well
Add 1 tbsp Salt (as per taste)
Mix and cook everything well
Squeeze half a lemon into it and mix
Now, add 2 cups of Cooked Rice
Mix everything well
Now, tasty Curry Leaves Rice is Ready
