Ragi Malt
In today’s blog, I am going to share one of the quick and easy yet tasty recipes for Ragi malt. Ragi is the most loved and most consumed grain in the southern part of Karnataka. The people of Karnataka believe in the power of Ragi. Ragi is highly nutritious and power-packed with high fiber and protein. Consuming Ragi on a daily basis helps in reducing weight, maintaining blood sugar levels, slowing down aging, and whatnot. There are so many dishes that we can prepare with Ragi, but Ragi Malt is the easiest and Healthiest version of Ragi Dishes besides Ragi Mudde. Now, let’s prepare Ragi Malt.

Ingredients
250 ml of water
1/2 tbsp Salt
2 tbsp Ragi flour
1/4 cup water
1 pinch of Cumin seeds
1 glass of Buttermilk
Instructions with Images
In a vessel add 250 ml of water
Add 1/4 tbsp Salt
Bring it to a boil
In a bowl add 2 tbsp Ragi flour
Add 1/4 cup water and mix it well
Make sure there are no lumps
Add the Ragi flour mix into boiling water
Mix everything well continuously and Make sure it doesn’t create any lumps
Add 1 pinch of Cumin powder and mix well
Mix everything well
Bring it to boil
Once Ragi malt comes to a flowing consistency turn off Gas
Let it cool completely
Add 1 glass of Buttermilk
Mix everything well
Add 1/4 tbsp Salt and mix
Now, Your healthy Ragi Malt is ready
