Kiraksali palya

Kiraksali palya is one of the healthiest green leafy vegetables. It has different names in different parts of India. In our home, my mom always makes kiraksali palya at least once a week. It takes very little time to prepare it. In today’s blog, I am going to share the recipe for kiraksali palya.

It hardly takes 10 minutes to prepare it.

Ingredients 

4 bunches of Kire soppu/Kiraksali soppu
5-6 Garlic cloves
1/2 tbsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds
5-6 Curry leaves 
3-4 Green chilies 
4 Coriander leaves
2-4 tbsp of Oil
1 tbsp Salt
1/4th tbsp Turmeric powder 

Instructions with Images

Wash 4 bunches of Kiraksali soppu/Keere soppu with salt and water thrice

Chop the leaves and keep them aside

In a deep vessel, add 2-4 tbsp Oil and heat it

Add 1/2 Tbsp Mustard seeds

Kiraksali palya

Add 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds

Kiraksali palya

And now add 5-6 crushed Garlic cloves

Now, Add 3-4 Green chilies and saute

Add 5-6 curry leaves and 4 tbsp of Coriander leaves and saute.

Now add chopped keraksali soppu/ Keere soppu and saute well.

Cook everything well until the leaves become soft.

Close the lid and cook until it is cooked completely 

 

Now, add 1/4 th tbsp of Turmeric powder

Add 1 tbsp of Salt

Mix everything well and cook for 2 more minutes

Now the tasty and healthy Kiraksali palya is ready.

You can enjoy it with Jowar rotti, chapati, ragi rotti, and rice. Do not add more Salt, because the keere soppu already has Salt in it. Do give it a try and enjoy it with your family. It is very easy to make it. If you liked the recipe, Please share it with your family and friends.
