In winter there was one dish that my mom used to prepare on daily basis, which is Sajjaka…My father loves to savor Sajjaka every morning before he leaves for his work…It gives strength to work and helps in healing colds and coughs…Sajjaka is prepared using Sooji and Jaggery…It is very fulfilling. You can prepare it as a dessert when guests visit your home…In today’s blog, I am going to share the recipe for Sajjaka…

Sajjaka
Ingredients
- 2 teacups of Water
- Add 1 tbsp Ghee
- ½ teacups of Jaggery
- ½ inch of Ginger
- 1 teacup of Sooji
Instructions
- Take a vessel and add 2 teacups of Water
- Add 1 tbsp Ghee
- Mix everything well and bring it to boil
- Now, add 1/2 teacups of Jaggery
- Mix everything well
- Grate a half-inch of Ginger into the water and mix well
- Then, gradually add 1 teacup of Roasted Sooji into it and mix continuously.
- Bring it to boil
- Mix it again
- Now, the yummy and healthy Sajjaka is ready.

Now, add 1/2 teacups of Jaggery
Mix everything well
Grate a half-inch of Ginger into the water and mix well
Then, gradually add 1 teacup of Roasted Sooji into it and mix continuously.
Now, the yummy and healthy Sajjaka is ready.
