Chutney plays a very important role in Indian cuisine. From North India to South India, people prepare different types of chutneys. We love to savor coconut chutney, peanut chutney, tomato chutney, etc…In today’s blog, I will share a Recipe for Peanut chutney…Which is very easy to make and quick recipe. You can enjoy it with Idli, Dosa, Puri, Paratha, roti, rice, etc.

Recipe for Peanut chutney
Equipment
- Mixer jar
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanuts
- 2 tbsp Chana dal
- 2 tbsp Urad dal
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- 1 cup onion
- 3-4 green chilies
- 4-5 curry leaves
- ¼ tbsp Tamarind
- ¼ tbsp jaggery
- 1 pinch Hing
- 1 cup coconut chopped
- 1 handful Coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 cup water
- ½ inch Ginger
Instructions
- Take a pan and 1 cup of peanuts
- Now, dry roast them well.
- Next, add 2 tbsp Chana dal and 2 tbsp Urad dal to the pan
- Dry roast them well.
- Then, add 2 tbsp oil to the pan
- Add 3-4 Garlic cloves
- And add ½ cup roughly chopped onion
- Then, add a few curry leaves
- Finally, add 3-4 green chilies and roast them well.
- Let them cool.
- Now add roasted dals and peanuts to the mixing jar.
- Next, add the roasted mixture to the jar.
- Add ¼ tbsp Tamarind and ¼ tbsp jaggery to the jar.
- Then add 1 pinch of Hing
- Add 1 cup chopped coconut to the jar.
- Add 1 handful of coriander leaves
- After that, add 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- Add 1 tbsp salt(As per taste)
- Add 1 cup water
- Finally, add ½ inch ginger
- Now grind it into a smooth paste.
- The tasty peanut chutney is ready.

Step 1
Take a pan and 1 cup of peanuts
Now, dry roast them well.
Next, add 2 tbsp Chana dal and 2 tbsp Urad dal to the pan
Dry roast them well.
Then, add 2 tbsp oil to the pan

Finally, add 3-4 green chilies and roast them well.
Let them cool.

Then add 1 pinch of Hing

Add 1 handful of coriander leaves
After that, add 1 tbsp cumin seeds
Add 1 tbsp salt(As per taste)
Add 1 cup water
Finally, add ½ inch ginger
Now grind it into a smooth paste.
The tasty peanut chutney is ready.
You can try the Idli sambar recipe with this. They make a great combination for breakfast.
